温暖化人為説に関する議論 地球温暖化に対する懐疑論を参照 前述のようにAR4において、地球温暖化の原因は人為的なものが大部分であるとの国際的かつ科学的な合意が得られている。これに対して、一部で下記のような異議を唱える者も見られるが、根拠に乏しいものも多い。また現在では、近年の温暖化に対する人為的影響を否定する国際的な学術組織は無いとされ[12][13]、異論に対する日本語での質疑応答集も存在する[14][15]。 二酸化炭素を主因とする温暖化を疑う意見や、モデルと実際の気候の不整合を問う意見。 太陽とテレコネクションなどの気候変化の関係に注目する研究の中から、査読を受けた論文に基づいた主張もなされている[16][17]。AR4では、これに関しては科学的理解の水準が低いとされ、考慮される段階にはいたっていない。 太陽活動の影響、宇宙広範の活動の影響、地球内部の活動、磁気圏の活動などが原因であるとの主張。 自然要因の方が大きいはずで、人為的ではない。 南極の一部だけは気温が上昇していないから、水蒸気が増えてもそこに降雪が集中するはずだ。 予想に用いる気候モデルの信頼性が十分でない。 二酸化炭素のミッシング・シンクなど、現在では解決された不整合性を論拠にした主張。 軍事産業や一部国家による陰謀である。 [編集] 緩和策に関する議論 (詳しくは地球温暖化に関する論争#緩和技術に関する議論、および地球温暖化に対する懐疑論を参照) [編集] 緩和技術に関する議論 再生可能エネルギーは最も大きい効果を持つ緩和手段の1つとされ、既に国によってはエネルギー供給量の相当割合を占めている。しかし未だに、その短所のみを取り上げて実用性を否定しようとする意見も見られる。 原子力発電は温暖化の緩和策の一つに挙げられ、その活用を進める動きがある。その一方で、汚染事故や将来のエネルギー源としての効率の低下、核拡散やテロの危険性などの見地から批判的な意見もある。 炭素固定手段としての森林の効果を否定しようとする意見が見られる。 日本国内において、既に日本の省エネルギーの水準は高く、これ以上の削減の必然性は低いなどと主張する意見がある。しかし実際は日本の一人当たりの温暖化ガス排出量は高い。 |
