ああだこうださん Both Sides Now、直訳すれば「今や(ものごと)両面から」、は帰国してからJudy Collinsのレコードを探していた時に偶然ドーナツ盤で見つけて買いました。今でも手元にあります。 Joni Mitchellの声・歌唱法も味がありますね。 But now old friends are acting strange They shake their heads, they say I've changed Well something's lost, but something's gained In living ev'ry day 「でも今や古くからの友人の行動は奇妙に思える 首を振ってわたしが変わったのだと彼らは言う なくしたものもあれば、得たものもあるということなのか 日々生きていれば」 こんな歌詞を日本語で歌っても絶対に売れないでしょうね。^ ^ これは Judy Collins が思想詩の大家 Pete Seeger の "Turn Turn Turn"を原作者と競演した貴重な録画です。 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DejUPN4SksU |
